IPhone Users

To ensure your Chip.IT can be scanned properly make sure your sticker is within 1 inch of your cellphones NFC Reader. A NFC reader (Near Field Communication) is built into all newer IPhones with Apple Pay capabilities. Google your phone model and search for “NFC” to ensure your phone can read NFC Microchips and the location of your reader. Compatible IPhones are automatically enabled to read NFC Microchips.

  • Turn on and unlock your IPhone to your main app home screen (Do not open your camera app)
  • Place the top portion of your IPhone as close as you can to your Chip.IT
  • A pop up will appear asking you to click on a link
  • Follow the link to view your Chip.IT personal record

Android / Samsung Users

To ensure your Chip.IT can be scanned properly make sure your sticker is within 1 inch of your cellphones NFC Reader. A NFC reader (Near Field Communication) is built into all newer Androids with Google Pay capabilities. Google your phone model and search for “NFC” to ensure your phone can read NFC Microchips and the location of your reader. You may also have to take extra steps to enable your NFC settings if they are not already enabled.

  • Turn on and unlock your Android phone to your main app home screen (Do not open your camera app)
  • Place the middle portion of the back of your Android phone as close as you can to your Chip.IT
  • A pop up will appear asking you to click on a link
  • Follow the link to view your Chip.IT personal record
  • If your phone is not scanning, attempt to ensure your NFC is enabled (See Below)

How to Enable Your NFC Capabilities

  • Open your “Settings” in your phone
  • Click on the “Search” icon or search area
  • Type “NFC”
  • Toggle your NFC to enable your phone to scan NFC Microchips
  • If you do not have this option, google your phone to ensure your phone is compatible with NFC Technology

Google Phones (Pixel)

To ensure your Chip.IT can be scanned properly make sure your sticker is within 1 inch of your cellphones NFC Reader. A NFC reader (Near Field Communication) is built into all newer Google Pixels with Google Pay capabilities. Google your phone model and search for “NFC” to ensure your phone can read NFC Microchips and the location of your reader. You may also have to take extra steps to enable your NFC settings if they are not already enabled.

Follow the same directions for Android / Samsung Users to scan your Chip.IT. Google Pixel, depending on model, vary on the NFC reader location from the very top of the cellphone to the middle of the back of the cellphone.
